Each word, in text. Each thought, each vision
is memory that haunts the living moment.
Each cryptic phrase holds a nightmare thought
that waits and festers in the past–
returning revenant upon discovery
to haunt the present
and suck the life and blood
of the future, with poisons
of regret.
