14:17 Strange Disease

You can fall in love in a hemorrhagic fever,
with the final bloody bite that brings you unto me;
each lesion speaks of pathological desire,
a carnal compulsion from the venusian vale.

I’ve got a strange disease. A pop-song melody
wedged in my flesh and mind; tight loop repeating,
scenarious replaying the touching of body and soul,
each head-bang’s bloody orgasm afterglow–a smile.

Your virus, my virus, twain are met entwined.
Delicious DNA erotically combined.

Petrified Forest.

Our love cannot exist, ever or forever.
All tears are possibilities.
All tears are love,
both unrequited and consummated.
Each verse of dead poetry,
each line of legal authorization
speaks to an entitlement eternal;
of bliss or damnation.

My heart. My revenant flesh;
a forest long dead–
petrified, putrified, puerile and prolonged.

Until that instance. The moment
just in time when I saw your face,
streaked with smiling tears. When we
met in an incomprehensible intersection,
between our lost souls, where you could
inspire eternal joy and I could enable it
with eternal oblivion.

12:12 A new poem

I want a new poem.
Just one little durge.
Something about loving and loss,
I’ve got emotions to purge.

I need a little poem,
just to show that I care.
That my heart’s full of pathos
and my spirit’s quite rare.

I need a love poem
like Bill’s sonnets but more,
so you’ll think that it is true love
and I’m not just a whore.

I need a divine poem,
full of beauty and grace,
to transport my soul
far from this fucking place.

I need a new poem,
just word on the page,
because of the old one
I tore up in rage.

perhance to dream

I had a bad dream last night. It woke me up, and I couldn’t get back to sleep. Not that it was a ‘bad’ dream, you can write that with dripping blood if you’d prefer, full of death, and night, and more blood, and a bit of bodice rippage where somehow someone has terraformed my breasts into worthy of the cover of a harliquin romance. No, not like that at all.

I’m in a cafe, somewhere towards the back. You know, the cafe where the counter and bar is half way to the front, and you have to walk past the kitchen and the toilets and there’s a room at the back. I guess it would have been a men’s smoking room, or for gambling at some point in the past. Well, I’m back there. And I have this software problem.

And a woman from the front offers to help. She’s somewhat larger than me, and a bit taller, with dark straight hair and a round face. She talking and I talk, and without knowing what we were saying, I realize that she knows nothing new. I thank her and leave. But not before she hands me the bill. Consulting fees.
