I can’t remember what I was doing, or taking a picture of, but suddenly these to guys shouted at me and started apeing about. I finally go them to pose. Cute, I think. This was in the old part of Vence, about an hour north of Nice, France. You can see the sea and the Cote d’Azure at night… One of my favorite haunts.

I don’t have any tattoos, but this is my favorite place to watch, because the whole image of the shop is so beautiful.

The JaKE Syndrome

I can’t say why, but I can say how.
I was jawing with JaKE, an erstwile fellow.
He was showing off his color yellow,
that could be achieved with his iGlass software.
The results you’ll admit, are beyond compare.

I wasn’t sure if she was dying to get me to take her picture, or was angry that i was doing it, but the result is interesting. This is across from one of the casinos on the waterfront in Nice.
Green Scooter of Vieux Nice

This is my favorite picture of the summer. This scooter is always parked somewhere, and it is so cute, but this time it was in the right place at the right time. The lighting is perfect. The placing is great. Click!

This should be Cote du Azure proper… near the effluence of the Papillion river in Nice… They’re all tourists, but I couldn’t figure out from where.

This is from Villefrance’s marina recentely. She was talking with friends, but this is the part of the image that had the most character. Villefranche is close to Nice, just east of it, towards Monaco.
Prophet of Vieux Nice

This guy haunts the old town of Nice… Haunts in the proper sense of haunts. He appears and disappears in a moment… like some hippy ghost. I don’t want to talk to him, as he may also talk… and I can’t imagine that being a good thing.

I’m collecting hundreds of maps of lyon… to go with my pictures. This one is from 1914, I’m told.
