You’ve got to love the fine lines of a crisp autumn day blue. With a little ol’ bob wire for the juxtaposition. This is around an old cistern that still seems to get some use. Not that it would stop me from throwing things in, but at least I won’t go in for a swim.

The building has left the building…

I love this old haunt. But it is gone now. I was looking for my photos of its dissolution, but I found this old one instead. The building is an old factory in downtown Lyon. If you read my chapter fragment, I walk right past it just before I get to the train station. JKE and I did this shoot with Maas and CT a while back. I’ve posted this in different formats before… but perhaps not this way.

Someone was just screwing about with my camera, in this cafe. I won’t name it, cause they were butt rude to us last time. Unfortunately my bag somehow clipped a glass as we left, shattering it on the floor. Oh, my.

This freaks me out. Maas took it while I’m trying to shoot some birds. It looks like we’re on level ground and that the sea is vertical, or something. But she was above me.

At the edge of the destroyed romanian factories there were these half destroyed houses with no windows. Perhaps they were worker’s dorms or something. Now they’re villages unto themselves. Some folks watch the train from a second story window…
